Hey anyone here have recommendations for a good shop that does parkerizing ? Have a Argentine 1927, 1911 that I want done. Looking for someone with fair pricing and reasonable turn around thanks

Really easy to do your self. Just gotta take your parts off and perfer sandblasting it

Hi,
Yes, Brownell's has the solution.
Get a SS bucket (for pistols) and black wire.
You DO need to blast to fresh metal.
Use a turkey fryer propane stove.
Not hard really to get great results!!!

Yeah I've done some myself before but I don't have the room here. No garage, no blasting cabinet tanks etc... when we finally buy a house that will change but for now gotta make do. Thanks for the replies though!

This is the guy, Shuffsparkerizing.com. He does lots of work on M1's and I'm about to have one rebarreled to 308...
