Prayer request for my father

My Step Father was diagnosed with lung cancer a couple months ago. He has been undergoing radiation treatment at the Miami VA hospital. Last week he developed a case of diverticulitis with a large abscess. He has not been responding well to antibiotic treatment and may not make it home. He was with my mom when she lost her battle with lung cancer almost 30 years ago.

Lord intervene in 500MAG's step fathers cancer . Help him overcome and regain his life . Stay with him and his family as they deal with this . Guide the doctors attending him with your guidance . In Jesus holy name I ask . Amen

Gee whiz, 500, I'm so sorry to hear this. God be with you and the rest of the family. I lost my Dad in '91, Mom in '99, and I still miss their being here with me. But you never really lose your parents. Many will deny it, but I swear Mom perches on my shoulder and whispers in my ear all the time, and Dad stands beside me with that look that said, "Alright boy, whatcha' gonna' do? You gonna' be controlled by the situation or are you gonna' control it?" They'll always be with us until our time comes to join them again. Still, not having them there to talk with and touch physically still hurts. God be with you all.
