Does anyone have any loads for the Lee 230 gr bullet in the 300 Blackout or 30-233. Would like to use Unique, WW231 or AA5477 if possible.

Unique and WW231 are probably too fast burning with this heavy bullet. I have used Rx7 which is close in burning rate to AA5477 with fair results. Best all-round powder for heavy subsonic in .300AAC is AA1680 or H110. I am loading for an AR with pistol length gas system and get both reasonable accuracy and function with 12.5 grains of AA1680 and this bullet. Even better accuracy if I put a gas check on the Lee230's bevel base. This load provides 1050 fps with my 16 inch barrel.

if it's a bolt gun the faster powders work very well.
red-dot, 700-x etc. at 4 grs is nice.
for an AR type rifle I would suggest 4227 in the 9+gr area for sub sonic.

It is a bolt gun in 30-223 . I found one load listing 5.4 of ww231 with the 230 gr Lee giving about 1000 fps. This was in the 300 blk. Sounds like a good place to start in a bolt action.

Still can use some help with this bullet. Is anyone else trying it in a bolt action 300blk, 30x40 wilson or 30-223 rem?

Not a 300, but I load that bullet in 3006 with 10 grains of unique for a chronographed 1320fps. I would suggest starting about 6 grains in 300 and see if that don't get you close.

1100 might pose a problem with the base and the nose shape of the LEE 230.
I'd steal 300 data and just work up moving to slower powders along the way.
sub in green dot for red dot then switch to unique then to herco, 800-x, steel etc until you find the balance or get to unburned powder..
the slower shot shell powders not burning well is an indication of lower pressure [below 15-K or so]
the faster ones, of below 10-K.

Tried 10.5gr of the old W680 with the 230 gr Lee today. Did not shoot for groups. It did give a average FPS of 1150. Now if it only groups well. LOL

Do you think 4 to 5 gr Bullseye or 231 with the 230 gr bullet a safe load ?
