Thanks for all the help with reloading for the Danish Rolling Block.
I have one last ( I hope) question.
What method are you using to trim down the length of the cases?

My rechambered Danish Rolling Block takes full length 45/70 brass so I no longer shorten the brass. Before I figured that out I used a hand cranked brass trimmer to remove .03" of length (I think that is correct). Just to save you a lot of mess with trying to do a chamber casting and all that. Just get a factory 45/70 loaded round and see if it will chamber into your gun. BTW, if you need an 11.7/56R die set I have one I would be glad to get rid of.
