Need Prayers for my Cousina

My cousin and best friend and hunting buddy for 35 years needs your prayers. He went in to have a cyst removed oh his forehead and it was found to be cancer. This is the cousin that has been trying to help me with my bucket list. He is only 53 years old.

Prayers sent, if they caught it early he is in good shape! My brother has had 6 lesions removed(he is the pale skin of the family, never tans, blonde hair... I am dark skinned and dark hair) and has to wear hats etc outdoors now but he beat it!

Received a update from him a few moments ago. The Glow Scan showed it is localized which is a good thing. Will talk with his Doctors in early Aug. to see how to treat it. He has not received the Bone Marrow results yet.

Latest update. Cousin told me today that cancer did show in his bone marrow test. He said it was very low but there, Not for sure what treatment as yet.

Still praying for him BR. Cancer is no longer a death sentence, and much promising research is being done. With the Lord's helping and healing hand, it's very reasonable for us to pray for a complete recovery and healing, and that's what I'll be asking the Lord for in your cousin's case. Never assume cancer is the end now! I've known some for whom it was the beginning of a whole new kind of life, one much more enjoyable and precious than the one they'd known before learning they had cancer. It's funny how these things work out sometimes. All we know to do is to pray, and let God work it all out as He sees fit. God always takes care of His own!

Talked to him today, Doctors told him no other cancer was found. He will be starting radiation treatments in the next few days.

I know that brstevns cousin has a lot on his plate but please take away all fears and allow him and his physicians to formulate the treatment that will allow him to return to good health. Well Believe it or not he shows up for his first session and the machine is not calibrated correctly. He is sent home must make new appointments .

The Lord works in mysterious ways. I have to wonder how many folks may have gotten treatment without the right calibration? We seem to think that when we pray, we're supposed to receive immediate gratification and results. But God knows much more than we do, and if things just aren't right, he may well delay His healing until things ARE right. We see things from such a limited and narrow view when we're concerned and scared, that we often overlook what would be more obvious if we thought more deeply about it. I look at this as a good thing. Radiation is a powerful and potentially deadly thing, and I know I for one wouldn't want to receive it from an out of calibration machine! Prayers continue for all concerned, family included, and thanks for keeping us updated on the situation. It helps us focus our prayers and earnestness more and better. And I believe that matters.
