My Daughters Surgery

My daughter has neck surgery scheduled for next Thursday the 23 rd.
She has a ruptured disc in her neck.

I respectfully ask for your prayers for the success of the surgery and her recovery.

Prayers up here for her and all of you. I had the very same thing, and it is AMAZING how much pain there is!!! Even my back problems weren't as bad, but maybe right along side it. And the pain in the neck seemed to radiate out through the nervous system to every spot in the body! My prayers will be devout, I can assure you of that! I have been where she's now walking.

Thank you my friends , my daughter has been through a lot with genetic heart problem coming from both sides of our family.
Now she has this to deal with.

I have faith that she will be better soon.

Hebrews 13:5 Christ promises ,"I will never leave you or forsake you."

I have claimed this promise through many hard times.

Clay, thanks for letting us know so we can do this for her. It's a real paradox how those who've been most thoroughly tested in life are the ones who have the most faith, or none at all. It's said "there are no atheists in foxholes" or whenever we're under "attack" by the limitations and frailties of the body and mind. That's not exactly true all the time, but it sure is a huge motivator to call on God. It brings us to our knees, and makes us take things we've neglected to take seriously, very seriously at long last. And none of us is immune or not guilty of this. G. K. Chesterton called them "moments when there is nothing but God." Praying here like jmort, for a successful surgery and miraculous recovery.

Clay, glad that the surgery went well.....now we need to pray for pain control, rehab, and restoration to good health.

Father, Thank You for guiding the doctors that did the surgery on Clay's daughter. We often take You for granted but I ask that You walk with her through her rehab and help her through the pain that is associated with this type of surgery. Lastly, I would ask that You wrap Your loving arms around her and restore her to good health. AMEN

I will pray for her . I went through that same surgery last year and now have a titanium bracket in my neck . I will pray indeed .
