Thought some of you guys might like to see my latest purchase.
Picked it up yesterday and hope to shoot it this weekend.
It's the .54 cal target model with a 32 5/16 inch barrel and a 1:65 twist.

Not sure what your definition of cheap is but this certainly wasn't.

unless you have some special edition, the pedi jaegers i've seen are in the $1k to $1.5k range, which (for what yer getting) is a great value (plus, they're shooters). getting that same rifle from a custom gun maker will easily cost double or more. i think you've more than likely got a Great Gun.

I hear what you're saying now that you mention custom firearms but $2000 aud isn't cheap in my books.

gun prices are all relative. to me, "cheap" just means paying less and getting more, and does not imply anything at all about being inferior. if you paid $2k for that jaeger, and from the quick looks of your rifle, i'd say you still made out on the money side and got yerself some great value. i've seen jaegers of those looks and components go for $3k and up. all a moot point as i still think you got a great rifle at a more than great price tag! awesome!
