Lord may you anoint this wedding with your Spirit guiding this couple all the days of their lives. May you guide them in every decision they make that they walk in your will. And Lord remind them everyday that you are the only source of advice because you told them to leave their fathers and mothers and built-up their own family.

I won't be able too attend. I'll be there in spirit. My better and prettier half will be representing us.

She has been running around like a mad women sewing, shopping getting her first ever petty cur (she said she didn't like it lol )

Congratulations RL!!! What a wonderful time! My eldest is only 16, so I'm hoping my time for this is a ways off yet, but I'd really, truly love to see that for mine, and can imagine, I think, how proud you must be. These are the "payoff" times for all that we have tried to instill in them. Good on ya', brother!

Funny! Good women have always been hard to find. The Bible calls them "a pearl of great price," and I've seen that proven time and time and time again in life. Had friends who married tarts, thinking it'd be fun. It wasn't. Always ended in divorce. Truly, God loves us, and wants us to be happy. He left us some really pretty simple rules to follow, that if we'll simply follow them, we CAN be very satisfied in our lives.

And I also think it's harder than ever to find a really good woman TO marry. The other kind seem to abound - concerned almost exclusively with their own sentiments and wants. They're like overgrown babies that constantly want to be entertained and catered to. That'll never be a recipe for happiness. Those older folks, all wrinkled and worn, who walk through the malls and parking lots holding hands, are a real inspiration, and now that I'm getting older, they're more poignant than ever. And their simple example matters, and if we let it, shows us what's REALLY most valuable in life. Going out to eat after church on Sunday, it's common to see them. Why ya' reckon that timing works like it does? ;)

Wow! Nice pair of pretty gals! And the lights in their eyes! That's something the runway models never seem able to display. Wonder what the difference is?:awesome:

RL I showed my son in law my duty weapons promised they would stay in case as long as he treated my daughter with respect and never hurt her. 2 grand kids and they still seem happy 25 years later.

Happy and belated wishes and congratulations.

Our grand daughter was married about 6 years ago. She has given us 2 wonderful great grandsons.

Again, congratulations to you and them.
