I reload with a Lee hand press. I am considering acquiring a bench press. I really want to avoid buying a lubrisizer just to install gas checks.
I have read of several jury-rigged methods of creating tools to crimp gas checks without the use of a lubrisizer. Are there available any retail tools that will allow me to crimp gas checks for: .476-inch revolver bullets; .458-inch rifle bullets; .512-inch rifle bullets? I make no reference to O.D.s of bullets at the gas check because these should be industry standard.
