When I first started casting, I saw this bullet and thought it would be great. I was highly disappointed when it dropped bullets at 157 grains. I was even more disappointed in what a pain in the butt it was when sizing and lubing it. Waxy lube would be all over the bezel base and would need to be wiped off.
Then, I started powder coating. I now love this boolit! This is the main food for my Uzi. Put on top of 4.6 grains of Power Pistol, with a WSP primer, they launch right at 1090 fps with a standard deviation of 10. I load a touch longer than the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook suggests and seat to 1.1.
Powder coating has really made this a wonderful boolit and now I appreciate the extra weight of 157 with my alloy, which is around 11 bhn.
