Lead Spot Price - $1.01 to $1.04 ... And

I went to a junk yard today: Dead Soft Sheet Lead (Bhn 5) for 60 cents a pound. So I bought 200#'s!

I sold some salvage this week and all metals were down from, of course, the day before. #2 Copper was down .10 at 3.10. Bad when you're selling, but maybe prices of our reloading products will see a downturn if it continues. Probably just dreaming. DALE

Here in southwest PA, they only pay 25 cents a pound at the scrap yard,when you sell it to them.Not sure what it would cost to buy lead from them. The tire shop where I was getting 5gal bucket of wheel weights for $12.00 jacked up the price to $20.00

That's a good price ($20) compared to what they'll bring in ingot form. Dale
