Henry Big Boy Brass 45LC

I have been picking up 45LC brass here and there for the past few years and finally amassed enough to require me to pick up a firearm to use them in. Purchased a Henry Big Boy Brass .45 today. This is the second time that having the brass has caused me to have to purchase a gun.

Don't load it to hot, had one come in years back that developed head space from shooting +P loads. The steel frame probably would be better.

Don'tcha love it when that happens??? I have several thousand 223 cases and all I had to shoot them in is a TC Contender 10" barrel!!! Soooooo I finally bought and AR a few months ago, but it just did not seem like enough. Soooo last Thursday the 26th I picked up a new Savage Model 11 in 223.

It came with the Nikon scope and that camo stock that I do not believe I will be keeping, not that I don't like synthetic stocks but I want one with a bit more meat to it. This one is too flexible.

Have not shot it yet but will correct that tomorrow.
