I. Have 10 lbs of VV N310 pistol powder on hand. faster than Bullseye apparently . Anyone have any experience loading it with cast bullets in 22 Hornet or 25-20 Win.
no data available on cast rifle loads on the VV website.

It is fast alright. Like a lightning.. great stuff. I wish I had 4,5 kilos of it.

It ignites very easily so there is no risk in "under charges". So start very low. Make one round, shoot and take a look inside the barrel. If there is unburned powder, increase the charge a bit. Continue until the powder burns completely. Then load 10 rounds and see if the charge burns RELIABLY.

That's how I have developed my loads for lead if there was no data for N310. For example in 357Mag (140 gr lead bullet) it starts burning when there is less than 4 grains in the case.

your talking like 2-3 grains here.

used to run 3 grains in a 38 special with a lee 125 rf. that load was hands down the best shooting load in my ppc gun and my model 15. Just couldn't afford to buy it at what they want for it. Great powder though. Very clean burning and very accurate

"couldn't afford"... really? I mean, with 3 grains you'd get over 2000 rounds / pound..

How expensive it is over there? Here it is about 55 euros / 0,5 kg.
