Sb-1 sb-2

Will a SB-1 barrel fit a SB-2 frame with moderate fitting or are they completely different?

with any luck it'll go right on but minor fittin' is often required. after fittin' any SB-1 is safe on an SB-2 frame. the other way around not so much as SB-1 frames are cast iron & SB-2's are cast steel.

Thanks for that! I have an SB-2 frame and want to add some -1 shotgun barrels.

How can you tell the difference between the SB1 and the SB2 if the receiver is not marked?

Remove the butt stock bolt and look at the rear of the action. If it is solid it is a "SB1" SB2 frames are open on either side of the butt stock bolt web.
