He nailed the white buffalo on the hillside at the Whittington Center dead center in the aiming spot with his 45-70 and black powder loads. 1138 yards I believe? Nice shot!

Congrats! Stopping by to fling a few chunks at that steel beast on the way to Cody in a few weeks.

Congratulations are in order. Fantastic shot. Heck he had to lob the bullet in just like firing a howitzer at it too.

Which reminds me. The Albuquerque Spring match would be coming up in a week or so, if there still was one.

That was about the second best match of the year for me.

I sure miss it and all the great people that used to attend.

Thanks everyone, it good to be lucky. Andy hit the buff also, it just so happened that my hit showed up on the black aiming spot that was most likely the size of a dinner plate. That big slug left a very visible silver splash on it that was easily seen.
BTW, we were both up for the silhouette match on Saturday in order to get a classification as we plan on shooting the Nationals. The conditions were far from ideal with winds at least 25 mph, but we both managed to get an "A" classification. He also beat me by one because of those @%#* chickens. LOL

Good luck at Nationals, both of you. Sounds like you guys will have some fun shooting against each other. Why not put a K-Bob's steak dinner on it?
