Shot both the 357 and 44 today at a hundred yards both done well. The 357 I used 38s to get on paper then switched to some 358-429s in special brass four shots three were touching 12 grains 2400. Then the lee 358-158 wfn cowboy design 13 grains 2400 had about three inch group. The 44 I used the noe 432-265 SWC design ladder test h110 21 -24 grains 22 had about two inch group but were too long to feed. I need to seat those a little deeper and see if they will feed from the mag. Both rifles are JM stamped MG. This year will be fun carrying the pistol and rifle for deer season! Thanks for all the help on here I tend to just search the older posts cause its been done here somewhere love this group!

Good on ya mate! I will try 2400 now, have been using IMR4227 with 180gr RNFP boolit. Do you use .360 boolits in the .357? The fat boolit in MG rifling was the key for me. See pics below; I completely recut the stock and rusted the hell out of the receiver and barrel (but not the precious bore) to give that old time look. And may I add...that lovin' feeling!
