444 Marlin Handi twist rate?

Recently purchased a used Handi 444 with a Nicon Omega 3-9 for $200 in real nice shape. I was wondering if anyone knew the twist rate?

When I bought mine I was told (by H&R) it was about 1 turn in 20" (I bought it because the .44 mag. barrel was 1 in 38 twist). You can measure it yourself with a cleaning rod that fits tight. Run a mark down one side of the rod, insert in barrel and run on in until mark comes around one turn. Mark the rod crosswise at muzzle, extract until line comes around again, mark, measure between marks (crosswise marks).
