In 5 seconds.

I was trying to keep just the right amount of tension on the wrench so it wouldn't slip and said: Wait a Minute, I have a tool that fits that shaft.

Just don't get the direction wrong. (Clockwise)

Good idea.

I've used my impact driver to back out the piston before also. After I've refilled it, not nearly as many turns are needed.

I heat the lube in a steel measuring cup and pour it in. Had it heating while posting.

Got the Li-ion at Christmas when Makita had kits under $100. They are usually in the service truck. Two of the 20 year old 9.6s are still running and retired to the shop. The one with a 1/4" snap chuck can live on the shelf under the 4500.

Got to thinking that Impact Driver might destroy something if I set the direction wrong. :bigsmyl2:

I used an air 3/8 socket wrench on mine. Noisey but saves time and wear and tear on the old shoulder.

Also heat lube in metal 1/2 measuring cup and pour in. Saves a time or two refilling as all the spaces get filled with lube.
