Its going to be a round ball shooter........ 36" length, 1" across the flats, with 1:79 twist and .012" cut rifling. Had it built for my T/C Hawken .54 stock.

Rd-B. __Sweet.
1-79 should do quite well for that.__ That's what I like about custom barrels twist rates. Individualization or
only'est one in the hood. (;

I'll post some pictures of it after I get the barrel browned. Im using Laurel Mountain and taking it to a gloss chocolate brown. I may take the stock down to bare walnut and spend a week or so rubbing tung oil into it. Not sure yet.

the joy of getting things is the wait. when you get them they are even more dear. i really like the oregon rifle barrel co. when you give them specs. it come back with the specs you ordered. that gun will shoot very very well.

That should be a nice one alright. That's a caplock then?

Yes it a Caplock. I've heard Mr Williams crafts a very good barrel. I have no doubt that it will be able to shoot much better than I will. I have to say I'm looking forward to the finish work and then range time. It will take a couple weeks or so after I receive it before it's finished. I'm going to take my time to refinish the stock with tung oil, black the brass, and get the glossy deep chocolate brown I want for the barrel and tang. I'm going to leave the lock with the case hardened finish and i made a brass ramrod for it last week. I dished it so it wouldn't deform the ball and tapped it for 10-32 threads. Then turned grooves in the other end so my hand doesn't slip. Not to shabby for a homemade ramrod. God I love this stuff. Lol

One more thing to do. A pewter poured forend cap.
A process when done. Separates one's rifle from all them others.

A little further down the road I am contemplating having all the brass plated with sterling silver. Then letting it tarnish naturally instead of going with pewter. I haven't checked on what the cost for it would be yet though.
