I have a 4 digit OMBH in 41 mag that has a brass grip on it. I've shined up the brass and the bluing is all original. Bought it from the original owner. The grips are a bit tired and I'm looking for a nice set of grips that will go well with it. Open to recommendations.

Yes, I know the one grip screw is buggered up. It was like that when I bought it.

Herrett's or Patrick Einhorn of Executioner grips down in Wyoming. Herrett makes wood, Einhorn does antler. Both top of the line.

Sack Peterson stag grips.

He sells on ebay from time to time and you can get them a little cheaper and faster.

I have a set of Private's grips in maple (recommended above). They are great and the price was right. The order took quite a while and was stressful though.

Giraffe bone is a good choice. They stick in your hand, and look like ivory.

First,,, I'd find out if this 41 mag shipped originally with the brass g/f. If so,,, quite rare & valuable, (About only 50 made that are factory verified.) As such, a set of proper, period correct factory grips would be in order around here. HOWEVER,,, since you mentioned this gun is a 4 digit one,,, highly unlikely it's a factory brassie.
After that,,, if it's a Ruger brass grip frame, marked MR3-DB, then a set of Super Blackhawk grips will fit it. And you have some nice selections listed above.
I'll add one more; "Lone Star Custom Grips" in Texas. Zane does a great job,,, and he's a super nice guy, as well as a strong NRA supporter.

I know this is not a factory brassie. It does have the Ruger MR3DB grips on it. The original owner had them added and fitted at the factory over 30 years ago. They were tarnished to a muddy brown color. I'm glad I was able to revitalize them.
