Loading & shooting Needhan conversion.

Anyone On this forum Load Or shoot The Needham conversion. . I know It is 58 Center fire . But what One. . I have a Good supply of original Primed 58 Berdan . . This case seems to be To large to completly chamber.
In my Cartridge collection I have several Loaded round s. My next Choice Is 58 Roberts. Same but shorter Case.

IIRC, the .58 Musket CF cartridge case can be formed from 24ga shotshell brass, or from .577 Nitro Express basic brass, in an RCBS form die.

The case OAL = 1.67" with an .080" thick rim that's .740" in diameter..

The case head just ahead of the rim = .646"; the case mouth = .625".
