I'm looking for the grains of H2o capacity of a 460 S&W case filled to the case mouth. Anybody? Need it for comparison to a 458 x 1.8 wildcat for Alliant 300 MP powder.

Yes, I found that one. Thanks. I was hoping for a couple confirmation figures from somebody I might actually know.

I currently don't have any empty cases but just weigh one than fill it with water and weigh it and subtract the first case weight. I have found this give more accurate results verse pouring the water out.

I'm good. I looked in QuickLoad last night and must have missed it. They list it as 60.0 grs of water which is close enough to the other internet source.

not helping, but it's roughly 75% of a 45/70 by water weight.
That's the formula I have used for transferring 45/70 loads to 460. Works very well.
