I've got an early-70s 1894 saddle-ring carbine (.44 Mag) with a broken ejector. This is the 'old-style' one-piece hairpin ejector and I've just about run to the end of my string on finding a replacement. Every source I've looked at has the later 2-piece ejectors (separate spring) but I can't even find a PN for the original and the newer ones don't fit the milled recess in my receiver. Any ideas? Any 'smiths out there that might rework my receiver to accept a late-model ejector...looks like a fairly simple job for someone who knows his was around a vertical mill?

Hey there Krasch... -- Wisner's shows the ejector.

Hope this helps. Best regards. Wind

Thanks, Wind. There's no pic but the catalog description and notes on the evolution of Marlin ejectors/extractors sound right. Will drop 'em an e-mail with my gun's S/N just to verify before I actually place an order (and will probably order a spare when I do:smile:)
