View Full Version : Need a case for a T/C Super 14"
I need an economical case to transport my scoped T/C Super 14" , 30-30 to and from the range.
Any ideas ?
Looks like I'm going to need about 20" X 8 " inside the case.

I bought a couple of hard cases several years ago that have been perfect for a pair of Contenders for transport etc. I'll see if I can dig one out & check the name. I THINK they are "Doscill" gun cases.

Watching this closely as I have a scoped Magnum Research 30/30, that also needs a case.

Ok, I dug one of mine out.
It is a Doskocil. It measures 26" x 13" x 5".
I have a pair of them, and I can easily get 2 Contenders with 14" bbls & scopes in one. Or 4 average handguns. (For me, average means Ruger SA's.)
I have had mine for a few decades. Still in very good shape.
Go to second hand store and look at the old samsonite brief cases. Lucked out and found some memory foam new in the package and two brief cases for $5

The Allen case is great room for gun and two additional barrels or other items all seperated

I've seen them come to the range in an old violin case. Kinda classy.
