I picked up a couple more excellent condition Winchesters--a pair of XTR model 94 Big Bore .375's., the light colored one unfired I have reason to suspect. These, going along with the 7-30 Waters and .356 Win. 94's I received shortly ago, will probably make me have to sell something else :(.....But I'm really happy to get this windfall! If anyone else has any of these, I would love to hear the story. Regards, 021

Beautiful rifles Zerotwentyone. The wood on the unfired specimen is outstanding.

I've always thought that the 375 Winchester would be a great cast boolit round. Sadly, whenever I see one for sale, the rifle is either pretty beat up or it costs more than my curiosity will abide.

I hope that they shoot as well as they look.

I've had one since new, still better than 95%. My first levergun, matter of fact. Mine loves the Lyman 375449 boolit. If you run across some brass, grab it!

NICE score on 2 beautiful rifles! I found one "(from 1979) in great shape last summer and it has become my favorite lever and maybe my favorite hunting rifle! It shoots the Lee 250 very well on 10 grains of 20-28 powder(thing nice metering Unique) and the 375449 on RL7 equally well. 2 Clicks of the rear sight to move between loads and I can hit soup cans offhand at 50 to 75 yards at will. The lite load is still doing 1250 or so and is like a big (maybe BIG) 22LR. To me it's the ultimate cast "deer hunting" rifle! Oh and I use starline 38-55 brass as my chamber is plenty long enough. In TN I have no need for the fire breathing REAL375Win level loads, so have no concern as to web thickness ect. It's an overbuilt 38-55 for me :)
I found another recently that someone had painted camo , I HATE PAint!!!! If I get it at my offer it will be returned to decency, but a friend has first dibs. He isn't as offended by the paint as much as I so will most likely end up with it. Still hope that he will tire of it :)

My newest edition is a 375 GNR#2 built by Gary Reeder and it's based on the 45/70 brass reformed.Texasgunnut which brass are you looking for??

I'm good, thanks. Still working my way thru the stuff I bought 30 yrs ago and scored 100 new pieces last year. I prefer correct headstamps as I have a couple of 38-55's around, neither of which would appreciate a full-speed 375 Winchester load.

Most of us here can probably sympathize, I try not to make that mistake anymore. Of course, I probably buy TOO many guns now......but as hard as some of the guns I collect are to acquire, passing on nice ones at a good price gets harder to do all the time.
