Thanks to Dragonfire, I have a new to me and first for me hollowpoint mould, Lyman 452374. It arrive today in great shape. I fired up the pot and while it was heating I inspected and cleaned it. Once done preheat it, and start casting, oh before I turned on the pots I made a wire hanger to hold the pin so it would be dipped in lead to heat. Read that tip here somewhere, thanks to whoever wrote it, it works great. Back to casting, first one, perfect, as were the rest up to #46, then I got three with wings. Check the mould and found a droplet of lead on the face of one side, cleaned it off and cast 4 more good ones. They dropped at .453 +/- .0005. pics below.

Casting HP's is time consuming and of course there was that time or two that I forgot to put the pin in it. Makes a mess when you do that.
Thanks again to Dragonfire, a straightshooter for sure.
