I am planning on reloading some 32 Winchester Special cartridges for some friends of mine. I have read that I can mimic 30/30 load data for the 32 Winchester Special. I plan on loading 170 grain bullets both cast bullets and jacketed. I have recently aquired 8lbs of Accurate Arms 2015 powder. I have not found any load data for the 32 Winchester Special for this powder but have found data for the 30/30 of the same bullet weight. For lead RNFP in 30/30 is suggests 24.3 grains (1930fps) and 27.0 grains (2121fps). I was just wanting some conformation that this would be safe and if anyone here as used AA 2015 powder in 32 Winchester Special. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not in .32 Win. Spl. but, for me, it worked reasonably well in the .30-30 and, essentially, the .32 Spl is just a necked up .30-30, if that's what you've got I'd say go for it. Just FWIW, AA2015 is my 'go to' for cast in the 45-70 and .308 WCF.

Might be an ideal powder for the .32 Special, just haven't tried it in my .32 yet. MY go to powder for the .45-70 and .358. .30-30 data should work well.

Several of the powder comparisons on the internet rate 2015 as nearly equivalent to IMR 3031-- which I also use in the 32 WS, so between this and the 30-30 data you should have things bracketed ok.

It's a tick faster than 3031 Sorta falls in between 4198 and 3031
