I was throwing a few charges of IMR-7383 this morning when I noticed that there was no powder being deposited in the pan after I worked the handle on my Uniflow several times…

I have a tube that is threaded to the bottom of the Uniflow and it allows the powder to drop about half a foot before it would enter a case…

Some powders I drop into the pan and then trickle to the correct amount—IMR-7383 is one of those powders…

Anyhow, the reason for the powder not making it to the pan—a ladybug somehow got inside the drop tube…

I wonder what the burn rate of the ladybug would be?...

Strange days indeed…

Good-luck…BCB

Had a mud dauber build a nest in the barrel of a rifle laying on the work bench in the garage. Glad I ran (tried more like it) a dry patch thru it before heading to the range.

I would bet their burn rate is somewhere between 4895 and 4064.

I believe the burn rate is close to red dot.

HVAC mechanic by trade. I had a big (40 + ton) unit start acting wonky, diagnosed a bad control board ($1000 +). New board, authorized, installed. Old board had ladybugs stuck / toasted on the back. Another time had a chicken caesar salad from a burger joint. Eating, chewing, "wait, this salad shouldn't have beans in it". Spat out the "bean" = ladybug. Manager - "You want another one?". No thanks, I've lost my appetite.

Now that is something I have not had happen. Bugs in the drop tube. Good one.

Well,
How much does a lady bug weigh?
