Why hasn't RCBS come out with a gang mold?

don't know
maybe they just don't want to do the machinery change out.

I wish they would make a 4 or 6 cavity. They make excellent molds, second only to Saeco-Redding.

Welcome to these forums Jim. :drinks:
I rate RCBS moulds too, but after running a few Lyman four holers I prefer anything with more than two holes to be in Aluminium or even Brass.
As I get older I find the iron four holers hard work. :(

This is only a WAG but I think thiers way to many mold makers out there for RCBS to invest in 4 and 6 cavity molds. Lets face it list price for a 2 banger is in the $70.00 range not including freight. We all know what NEI gets for gang molds.
I won't fault RCBS for not doing this, the return on investment would probabely be 30 years.

What investment?
A larger block holding jig looks like the only thing you'd need to put
bigger molds into production.
I'd guess that tooling up for handles would be a bigger deal. So make them
work with Lee 6 hole handles.

you guys need to give them a call and ask. I called them about a year ago and asked the same question and they told me i was the first person that ever asked them to do it.

They wouldn't need to change their handles, I use RCBS handles for my NEI four bangers.
