Hey folks. I need a shorter front sight ramp for my Lyman 66 equipped 1976 Marlin 336 Texan. I think a ramp around 3/16" shorter would do it, with the original ramp the rear sight has to be elevated higher than I like. Anyone know if Williams ramps, which come with 6-48 screws, will work? Looking at their catalog they don't mention what diameter barrel they will fit or anything like that. I like the front sight that is on it and would rather not get a shorter one. Thanks!

Hi,

Brownells has a several marlin levergun front ramps,

you could also try Numrich, but searching for and confirming if a part will work from numrich can give one a headache.

Thanks. I contacted Brownell's and they told me that the screw size is 6-48 and that the Williams Shorty ramp should work. Love their tech support, best in the business. Gonna order one on payday.
