Last week i got a chance to shoot my 41 Swiss rifle converted to centerfire using 348 Winchester brass and reloader number 7 powder. I ground off the ears on the rim fire firing pin and drill a hole in the center of the firing pin and bolt for a rcbs decapping pin. I and using a lee 310 castbullets cast with wheel weights and tin added and it weighs at 305. At fifty years i was getting One to one half inch groups.:bigsmyl2: The rifle shoots 6 inchs high at fifty yards so at a hundred yards i figure it would be 3 inchs high. This is one of the best castbullets rifle i have ever shot. I also have a spare firing pin under the butt plate in case they start making 41 rimfire ammo again.:-o

I load black powder in my 1881 Vetterli. I recently traded another one that needed Lebel 8mm brass - the .348 Winchester brass wouldn't eject. Great rifles.
