Hello I'm new to the forum and would like to know if anyone has any data or experience with the Lee 160 grain bullet and a light load for a 45 ACP 625 revolver. There isn't much info online on this bullet and I would like a low recoil load for my revolver. Thanks.

As long as you're looking for low recoil and not wanting to go max velocity just use 185 lead target data with Bullseye or 231. Your 160 bullet will probably go 50-60 fps faster than the 185 data indicates.

The boolit shoots good with WST in my 1911 use the 185 data.

Thanks for the replies. I have plenty of Bullseye on hand and will give it a try.

Update on this bullet. I tried 4.0 grains of Bullseye. It was ok but dirty with the light loading. I had some Trail Boss, so I loaded 4.0 grains and tried it. It is an excellent load! I haven't chrono'd it yet but it is accurate, clean and easy on the hands
