hi been a member here for a while but i have one post here . been lurking and learning a lot

i like casting my own bullets. it will save me money after i cast about a million of them LOL

purchased satans little smelter 100lb size

and the magma bullet sizer and luber.

i was tired of using the lee with alox. i was getting a ton of smoke when i was shooting.

can't wait to get them and try them out.

magma is great, i got the bullet feeder and the air compressor so all i will have to do is pull the handle

the smelter will only be used a few times a year but the magma will be used quite a bit more often.

you will enjoy your star, makes casting a whole lot more fun. Once you get it set up its a dream to use. Contact Lathsmith on here and order the punch nuts with the set screws in them and it will be faster and easier to set up. Also tell him that you have the bullet feeder because the nuts are different than the nuts with out the bullet feeder. He also makes dies and punches for the star that are less money and as good a quality as the stars dies. He also makes a roller handle that makes it less fatiguing when you are sizing those bollits. good luck.

Don't get attached to the pretty paint on the Satan's Little Smelter. When you run it wide open, it's going to burn off all the paint and stickers. I've discovered it's a great tool that just isn't going to be pretty. Here's mine on its third cycle.

yes i know about the paint issue. i think they recomend a little oil so it does not rust

OH I want one so baddddddddddddddddd Being I can weld I just need to see one ..Sure would make my life a whole lot better to clean up all the buckets of lead I have ..But the price ouch

My biggest issue with smelt a large amount of scarp is sometimes skimming is just way to much.

And if by our getting It that hot. You'd better be dang sure you have 0 zinc in the pot.

I like the way that smelter looks does it have a burner built into it ? Contact info please .New here and before I buy molds lubsizer etc .I want a good supply of lead .
