I have an LCR I purchased for my wife in .22lr. I like it way more than I expected that I would. Now I see some LCR's in .327 are available at several online sellers. Anybody have one? Opinions? I love the caliber already and own five handguns already in it, but none this packable.

I'm seriously considering this revolver.

I just got one a few months ago. First pistol in that caliber for me. Light weight and lots of room in a jacket. I have only shot commercial ammo that I could find. Shoots Winchester .32 S&W long in a 2" group at 21 feet. Only .32 H&R mag was some Buffalo Bore 130 grain hard cast which blasted through 6"+ of wet phone books. American Eagle .327 mag, 100 grain JSP did a 3" group at 21' with the most kick. Reloaded some of the .327 mag brass with NOE 311-115-F which drop at .3144. Have seven different powder loads. Shooting tomorrow. Very handy size. Bought the .22LR LCR at the same time, love it.

Just curious . . . now that they are out there, what price range are they being sold for?

I had a 357 LCR at one time but traded it off on my Smith 36 J frame which I much prefer. There was nothing wrong with the LCR - it shot well and I never had a problem with it at all - I just preferred the 36 J frame.

I have a friend who bought his wife a LCR in 22 LR and I've shot that one - a good shooter. A LCR in the .32 H & R seems like it would be pretty ideal and something that my wife should be able to handle O.K. for a SD hand gun - not real abusive to the hand but strong enough to do the job if necessary. Plus, 32 Long reloads with cast seems like it would be ideal for plinking/practice too.

Since I paid cash for two revolvers at the same time, the .327 magnum was $525 approx. cost. I had not seen any around, but an FFL in another town ordered them for me.

Mine has .314 cylinder throats and the barrel slugs at .313. Was going to shoot a first series of boolits from the .327 mag brass, but my Grandson's visit took priority. Did cast some Lee TL314-90-SWC to start loading .32 S & W long and .32 H&R mag.

I'd be real interested in a .327 LCRx or an SP101 really. A little 6 shot J-frame would be sweet but that exists only in my imagination.

Well the LCR is "close" to a six-shot J-Frame... :)

Took seven different powder batches of ammo to the range today. Using the NOE 311-115-F at 21 feet, ACC #5 provided an excellent group. Really have to practice with this revolver.. small size and long trigger pull.
