268 Projectiles out of Mod 38 Swede

I loaded 156gr .268 projectiles made by CBE over ten grains of Unique out of a Mod 38 Swede. A better shooter than I shot five rounds off a non-scoped rifle off a bench with no sling. The target was at 50 metres and the max spread was 57mm. I think these results are encouraging.

............Sounds like a good beginning. Did you slug your rifle and determine it NEEDED a .268" slug? Don't know how much 22RF is where you live, but that load doesn't cost much more then a round of 22 :-)

Thanks Buckshot. I read on here that most Swedes have a large throat and bigger is better for cast projectiles. .268 is off the shelf from CBE so it all sort of fell together. Am going to try using some 2400 as well.

I shoot .268 dia. in all my Swedes....They work fine.
