Went to a gun show this Saturday morning, not really looking for anything special, but keeping an open eye for anything that might be interesting. I was rewarded with this Forster trimmer, the seller had 3 of them, all mounted the same way. I think they came from a estate sale. Anyway, asking price was $25. each, which was very reasonable. I made 3 passes past the table and on the third pass, I picked one out and offered $20. The seller thought for a few seconds and accepted my offer. Cleaned it that evening, and it looks just about brand new. I think the original owner had dedicated trimmers. the one I got had a label saying "45C 1.280", "44 Mag, 1.280" Since it had a pilot for the 45, I trimmed a cartridge and it miked 1.280" right on the nose.

There are some pretty handgun stocks hidin' in that tool base, too.

Nice. They are great trimmers. Even better at a good price.

The Forster is my go to trimmer. Works great for me.

I was given one by a friend. It was 1979 vintage and had never been used. Needless to say, I've used the Forster to trim many cases for my friend, and then reload them for him.

I have three of them. Two have their three way trimmers, 22 and 30 cal. The third is used for everything else. Have a whole host of accessories for them as well. It's a really versatile little tool.

I love my Forster, get the 3 way cutter head, it's worth it!

Somebody must have had a great set up for reloading. Glad you got part of it.
