375 XTR Barrel threads

I just bought a ( looks like new ) 375 XTR AE barrel, thinking I may be able to put it on a 94 Winchester if I found a cheap 30-30. ( loading it to 38-55 velocities ). I see that the shank size is bigger than standard 94 Winchester. does anyone know if the barrel shank size is bigger on the newer "big bore" receivers or is it when they went to angle eject that they became bigger ?

The BB barrel shank has larger diameter. I found this out the hard way, I bought a 375 win BB barrel from Numrich to put on a 94ae frame.
