Forgive me , I didn't do a search. What's your opinion on reliability, durability and anything else. Thanks ahead of time.

No personal experience, but I've heard good things about the P238 and P938 pistols. Sig's are supposed to be good quality, they're sure priced that way.

My wife has one as her carry gun. I can't say enough good about those little guns. I have loaded barn burners down to little more than a primer and that thing eats everything and wants more. It also runs great clean, dirty, oily or dry.

Felt recoil is the nicest of the small guns and it is very accurate. It is a fun and practical gun of the highest quality.

Did I mention I love these pistols!!!

My wife and I both have Sig P238's, as do several of our friends. They're a miniature 1911, and as stated, eat everything and are exceptional little shooters. You can buy with confidence with this one.

Hope this helps.

Bought my girlfriend one last year, as of last Thursdays range session she has just over 2k rounds down range. The first 1k plus were all factory now this 1k she is working on are our loads using berry plated bullets.

So far she has had ZERO issue using the cheapest steel case ammo to high dollar self-defense ammo. The reloads have been with Red Dot and now CFE Pistol. The Sig has eaten every boolits design its been fed, TC, RN, FRN, HP.

The bore slugged out at .3555" I'm sizing to .357" with zero leading using 45/45/10 and now with PC. Last Thursday she shot a sample of 50 PC'ed Ranch Dog boolits with slightly better accuracy than 45/45/10. 100% of her shooting has been at 10 yards max to as close as 3 yards.

According to Sig her pistol is coming up for a respring, they say after 2k~3k rounds you should replace the recoil spring and fire pin spring. She hasn't had any issue yet but we are keeping our eye's open for failure to eject or fire. Springs are sold in 3 packs ( 3 of each spring) for like $12 or something like that, nothing that will break bank considering that would get you 8k rounds down rang min. before you would need to reorder springs.

That's been our/her experience with the Sig P238 so far.

Thanks guys, put 200 rounds down range day before yesterday, 100 privy, and 100 Winchester. That little pistol eats it up flawlessly. Wifey is happy so everyone is happy!

I had one for a while. Great summer carry. I went back to bigger calibers, but the gun itself was fantastic. Excellent quality, feel, fit, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if that's what tickled my fancy.
