I'm considering the NOE HTC309-153-SP mold for .300 BLK in my AR-15 but I'm a bit concerned about the lack of a gas check. If I PC the base of the Boolit would it be safe/accurate to shoot at super sonic speeds? Would it matter if the base is PC? What are your thoughts?

I would go with a gas check mold. I would think better for all around use.

I run a 145gr PB to 2100 with accuracy in 1:10 BO. Can't get there with 1:7. NOT coating the base works best for me. I can't guarantee a good flat base when PCd as I stand them on the base to cook. Cooked laying down I get sags when the stuff flows - not good for accuracy.

this is a case of maybe.
maybe it'll fit, and maybe you can push it to 1400 or so.
you'll maybe have to size the nose if you coat it.

personally I'd go another route, but I like simple.
