I have acquired a large quantity of homemade lube, many sticks of the above mixture formed in cylindrical shapes, I have an entire .50 cal ammo can full of it. It appears to be set up for the RCBS lube sizer that came with it. I'm new to this and I'm wondering if anyone has a rough idea how many bullets you can produce with a pound of the stuff. It feels like a lifetime supply, but I don't have a reference point. It sure is messy and "fragrant".

Just depends upon the capacity of the grooves ermm and your waste that is,simply take the volumetric capacity of the grooves and divide the space taken up by your lube and you'll have the answer you seek ( suffice to say a fair few ...)

My deep groove 45 SWC maybe good for 500 bullets/stick. I think my shallow 9mm is good for over 1000/stick,

Thanks that helps. I've got a lot of lubed future 9mm and .357 bullets in that can then.

that's a pretty good average.
