What a great verse to help us see the futility of always trying to gather ever more "stuff" for ourselves, while letting the serious and consequential things in our lives go unattended to! And if there's a greater hallmark of our "modern" times than our mad rush to "make it," I don't know what it'd be. Truly, we're about as much the reverse of what we've been given good instruction to be as is possible.

But it also seems the whole world is choosing up sides, and there are only 2 to choose from. Kind'a like what was prophesied. Ain't it funny how that works?
