View Full Version : Sizing the RCBS 35 200 FN
I have a new 35 Marlin with the microgroove barrel. What sizing die is everyone using for the RCBS 35 200 FN Gas check bullet.?? .358 or .359??
Thanks

Microgroove Marlins tend to like them large. I run them through a .360, which for my mold doesn't really reduce diameter, it just allows a convenient method to lube and check them.

Mine likes .358.

Guess that makes me the middle man. I happen to own a 0.359" size die already, so that is what I use. Works wonderfully.

My mold casts at .361", and I run it through a .363" die. It crimps on the check and lubes, but no sizing. It shoots very well from my Micro_Groove .35 336.

So to review, everyone is using something different. :)

And they all seem to work well; a good omen.
