Looking for information & dimensions or drawing of a .44 Remington CF boolit, as chambered in Remington M1875 Single Action Revolver.
A friend has just bought a Remington M1875 wheelgun and wants to shoot it, he will slug the bore and chambers when he gets it.
I have read that the bullet diameter is .447", heeled, and outside lubricated. Is/was there ever a mold available for this? He will probably get a mold made if we can nail down some bullet dimensions. Pictures I saw online were of an inside lubed bullet.
Thanks
