It is with deep regret I have to advise the passing of Pvt. Floyd Krause. Floyd served with the Calgary Highlanders and was the last four members of our immediate family who served overseas during WW11.
He enlisted at the age of 18 in 1939 and left for England in the spring of 1940. He saw action in N.W. Europe including Normandy, the Battle of the Sheldt Estuary - a killing ground if there ever was one - Holland and Germany.
Floyd, our Nov 11th phone calls will be sorely missed, say hello to all the boys from all of us who remain in your debt forever.
R.I.P.
