The local gun shop has a NIB CVA 12ga. side by side kit gun still in the shrink wrap for $200. I saw that today and immediately thought how it would be fun to build a shorty out of it like the one I used to have years ago. If anyone in the area would please buy it so I don't have to, I would appreciate it.

The photo Hickory has shown is a prohibited firearm unless registered as it fires centerfire cartridges. The Howda is similar but has external hammers and is a muzzleloader which is legal most places.

Black powder would be good for eliminating the mosquitoes that can somehow find their way through the screen of an open window at night, just make sure to wake the better half BEFORE you drop the hammers............
