I saw this article and thought it was pretty good. I don't have much artistic ability but who knows maybe someday.

Very interesting! Thanks for posting it. It is stuff like this that adds to the enjoyment of our addiction.

I've seen things like this at gunshows...it's more "arts & crafts" than sculpture Art.

Good article & thanks for posting. Sort of the resurgence of "trench art".

There is a guy in Seattle that makes pipes out of brass and sells them on Craig's List

Wow, that's amazing. But it's just one more thing I don't have time for.

I had a couple of 8x57 cases turned into cuff links a few years back. Also did the same to a couple of 7.5 Swiss cases for my best man. They looked good!

Thanks, Ron. Great post. It's amazing what we can make of the things that are all around us. All we need is to just allow ourselves a little time for the effort. That's difficult for many today, I realize, but once we do it once, and find it satisfying, it's amazing how much easier it becomes to find that time. It's really about what we WANT in life, rather than what we HAVE to do. But some just never give themselves a chance to be wrong about what they think is "necessary" in their lives, and thus, miss a lot of the richness that life has to offer.

I know I've seen it printed and heard it said a number of times, that when we do something, and time seems to stand still, we're doing something that really IS necessary in our lives. We're just learning to appreciate the time and talents we have whenever we use them. It's not a popular theory today, but it's still as valid as it's always been.

Impressive but I just don't get the whole skull thing.
