can anyone identify this metal/item

I got this in some scrap lead. The guy who dropped it off said it was lead but I don t think so. It is non magnetic, does not bend as lead does, and is somewhat brittle. It looks like it may be some kind of metal gasket. 164221164222

It looks like a couple of decoy anchors, possibly made from zinc. Try a drop or two of muratic acid and see if you get a reaction.
