Smithy question

I picked up the used but almost new Granite. I need to remove the carriage to reduce weight so I can get it in my basement. Reading the instructions is a joke.
On my old CB the lead screw would unplug and pull out but this one is pinned. The instructions say to remove the capscrews holding the trestle and slide the carriage off??? :!:
It refers to fig 25 part no 0000000000, hee, no such thing!
What is the easy way to get this thing off?

keep looking,you`ll figure it out:neutral: no pun intended.
could be any assortment of fixturization ala pins,screws,keyways,lefthand threads,
the gizmo may be connected to something that must be taken off as a unit.
my mini mill IIRC was crank the table off the threads,then slide it off.
