Range book & working up loads

I know there are many different range book offerings on the market but I would like to know what true "shooters" use.

I want to make up a book for my new to me Sharps rifle.

Those of you recording your information, please give me some ideas of exactly what you're recording.

I made up my own records book. I shoot single short too mostly 45=70. I note the date, make of brass, bullet type and weight, primer make, powder and weight, and over all length. Then results. Been doing this over 10 years now and always easy to go back for info.
