Hi. I need to cast more than 1000 bullets per week. I always used Lee 6 cavity molds, but, after making around 25000 bullets the skrew wich holds the sprue plate become damaged and loosed up. This happens with all the Lee molds and it is not easy for me to fix it. Do you recommend me to change to another brand? Are the iron molds more suitable for this purpose? In this case which mold do you suggest?

Check out NOE. Machines blocks from much higher grade aluminium and already have the set screws where needed.
Btw, I would stay away from iron or brass for your volume unless you have the forearms of a gorilla.

I love my 4 cavity brass molds but they do get heavy very quick!

I would add the Lyman 4 cavity blocks, if you can find the design you like.

Go buy a new Lee and install a set screw against the sprue screw before it gets a chance to get loose. Or buy Noe 5 cav molds. They are really nice.

Or just get a new screw from Lee or maybe Titan Reloading and perform the same work on your existing Lee mold.

If money is not an issue then there are mold makers who deliver quality molds that do not require the tweaking that Lee molds often require. But even the older Lee molds will get the job done if you are willing to work on and with them a little.........Mike

Noe's are very nice but in hollow points I think Miha's pin method edge them out by just a little.

One advantage of Miha's molds is that he is already shipping international for most of his orders. NOE and Accurate will be shipping out of the US and I don't know if they are set up for that. You would have to ask them. Depending on caliber don't overlook Old West Molds - Bernie bought out the entire catalog of the previous owner and has the heeled boolit molds.
